Geographical Range: SE Alaska to San Diego, CA; North Atlantic Depth Range: Low intertidal to 15 m. Mostly subtidal. Habitat: Rocky, exposed coast, concrete pilings, marina floats. In the intertidal, is usually in surge channels and on vertical rock faces.
