Wood, 1828) Wavy Turban Snail, Wavy Top Turban This species occurs in the eastern Pacific Ocean from Central California to Central Baja California, Mexico. This species is large and contains a lot of meat in the foot muscle. It was used by Chumash Indians as a meat supplement in their diet. The shell size ranges between 40 mm and 145 mm.
